A new map initially may be on the re-direct server (and not here), but once it is added here, it will be removed from the re-direct server. |

Installing MapsThe easiest way to install UT2003/2004 maps and bonus packs is to download and install the DvT Tools package from the link on the right and to use the Map Manager tool. Do not use DvT Tools to install patches to the game, just download the patch file and run it. |

New 5/17/2006 A wide open map based on the WWI Gallipoli campaign. "Prepare for one of the hardest ONS maps you've ever played." The final version of Gallipoli is even harder than the beta3 version, better looking, has music, and has the stoopid underground spawn points (that trapped the bots) removed. Some full foliage trees have been added, a few fences, and, are you ready for this? -- Land Mines; not spider mines, but hidden land mines...step on one and you're dead...just like on a WWI battlefield. |

| Jailbreak | Jailbreak is a UT2004 mod that adds a new game-type, which incorporates concepts from Bombing Run and Last Man Standing. It is team game, when a player is fragged, he respawns in jail; teammates who are fragged respawn in the same cell with him (some maps have more than one cell). At the opposing team's 'base' is a lock, which your other (free) teammates can pick (run over), which opens the cell and allows their incarcerated friends to escape. A round ends when an entire team is jailed; the map ends when a team has won 5 rounds. |

All DvT servers may not be running the latest patch, but the version found here will work with all DvT servers.
New 12/6/2005 -- This patch should be installed *after* installing the Epic ECE Bonus Pack, as it updates some of the game code included with the bonus pack. If you reinstall UT2K4, the ECE won't install until you have patched the original game to version 3323 or later ... but some of the later patches (such as 3369) also patch the ECE code. Therefore ... reinstall the game, apply the latest patch, install the ECE, and then reapply the latest patch. |

Installing MapsDo NOT try to use the UT2004 version of DvT Tools to install UT3 maps; it does not know where to put them so they will work.Where UT3 map files go is simplier than in UT2004 once you become familar with it. However, it is harder to explain when you are not familar with the new folder structures that UT3 uses. CLICK HERE for a detailed explanation of where things go. For some reason Epic thinks that 'desaturating' the color of most UT3 maps by about 30% is a good idea...perhaps the reasoning is that the grayer look gives more of a "warzone" feel. Well...the maps are a lot prettier without the desaturation and this mod restores the color. "The mutator does not magically color the textures or create color where none previously existed... it only 'removes the removal' of color." Highly recommended. |
